Lightning Content Distribution produces a variety of software to enable the Digital Supply Chain. We utilize this technology to deliver media to consumers under our own brand, but we also license it to third party retailers and OEMs.
The Lightning Disc Creator is a Windows MFC application currently shipping and available from the "Install The Software" tab on this web site. We provide this software as a "white label" digital distribution mechanism; it can be customized to suit the needs of the digital distribution partner in question. This includes full look-and-feel branding, download manager components, electronic commerce back-end, and secure CD/DVD burning technology.
This software is currently available for the Microsoft Windows platform (Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.)
LightningCD released the Lightning Media Engine into beta in August 2006, incorporating the digital media delivery technologies currently in use in the Lightning Disc Creator and also supporting the Windows Media Center experience.
